When taking this picture I was amazed at the beauty of this fragile wonder. As I looked further, I could see that this butterfly had taken some hard hits with life, and yet it was still beautiful. We are much like this butterfly, we have our own unique beauty, and yet, others can choose to see the flaws and hard hits on us, or they can choose to see the beauty that remains. Perhaps that is where
true beauty is created, when all that remains is that what is born out of adversity.
Isaiah 53:2 "He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."
One sees by this prophecy of Jesus that he was not the person that Hollywood or most paintings show. If it is not Jesus' physical beauty that draws us to him, what is it then?
